Presentada como un documental estilo diario de viaje, la película muestra a la banda dentro y fuera del escenario mientras exploran la cultura local y actúan frente a fans de 6 continentes. Anteriormente, solo estaba disponible en VHS y Laserdisc, y ahora con las imágenes restauradas se ha remezclado y masterizado el audio para su primer lanzamiento en DVD y Blu-ray.
Grabado durante su primera gira mundial, Around The World muestra a Sting, Andy Summers y Stewart Copeland tocando con un frenesí y una pasión que los convertiría en la banda más grande del mundo. Con repertorio de sus dos primeros álbumes, estas actuaciones se grabaron en Japón, Hong Kong e Inglaterra y muestran al grupo construyendo su base de fans concierto a concierto, país por país y canción por canción.
